Oak & Palm was born from the spirit of Sunset Beach, North Carolina—a place where the Atlantic meets timeless tradition. The oak represents strength, heritage, and the deep roots of this community. It reflects the foods that have long defined the coast: line-caught fish brought in daily, tender chops and steaks, and the unmistakable flavor of Calabash seafood. Like the oak, these dishes are grounded, hearty, and tied to the land and waters that sustain us.

The palm, by contrast, symbolizes adventure, travel, and a breeze from distant shores. It is a nod to the curiosity that drives us to explore flavors beyond our own backyard. With influences from the Mediterranean, Asia, Latin America, and beyond, Palm infuses global character into familiar coastal dishes—bright shrimp dishes, miso-glazed fish, island-inspired cocktails, and spice-kissed small plates. It brings vibrancy and discovery to the Oak’s tradition.
